3. Grammatical and typo errors.
Oftentimes, when there’s too many qualified applicants for one job, they will try to
narrow down the search by scanning typo errors on your resume or even mistakes in
grammars. You don’t want that reason for not being chosen do you?
4. Story Telling
Do not forget you are applying for a job and not on a school fare. Always remember to be
concise and straight to the point. Avoid repetition in your resume in multiple job
descriptions. As they say, it takes two to tango! So make sure to include all the relevant
information in two pages only.
5. Photo “Bomb”
Never use a photo cut out from your favorite album or a photo from 5 years back.
Always use a current photo with white background and wear a suit to make it look more
professional. Just a little bit of photoshop will do.
