It is the responsibility of the Accountant to release Sales Orders; oversee credit insurance management; MIS reports and Analysis with proper highlights; to maintain the customer master, to open customer codes after review appraisal of customers credit worthiness; the posting of credit notes towards rebates, promo support and trade discounts; dealer documentation update and sending regular updates to business for expired trade license; to liaise with treasury for remittances and posting entries; to send Dunning notices to customers for overdue payments; to send regular balance confirmations requests alongside updating the status / reconciliation of customer accounts; to send statements to customers as per their request and the preparation of reconciliations; to co-ordinate with the Business regards matching and clearing; periodic credit review and the appraisal of customer accounts; the submission of documents to the HR and Admin department for police action against customers; routine balance confirmation and reconciliation of customer accounts.
